The zoo comes to visit!
Last week we got to enjoy a fantastic zoo experience when Happy Hooves Mobile Mini Farm came to visit .
It was lovely to see Jeremy the alpaca, a very woolly sheep, a goat, some chickens, guineas pigs and a baby hedgehog called Twiglet!
The farm experience delighted residents as they were able to get up so close to the animals.
Fiona Kersey, Manager says: “We were very happy to receive our animal guests. Being able to cuddle the rabbits and guinea pigs transformed some of our residents’ back in time to when they had them as pets themselves. The joy of interacting with the animals was a lovely experience and one we hope to experience again in the not too distant future.”
The weather on the day couldn’t have been better. The residents got to enjoy a BBQ and a visit from David’s Ice–cream van in the sunshine and a thoroughly good day was had by all!
