At Hoar Cross Nursing Home, care is provided by a team of fully qualified Nursing staff 24 hours a day, led by the Matron and Care Manager who has been qualified since 1978. She has enormous experience in caring for the elderly and has a warm character and a caring personality.

Supporting Matron is a team of well trained and motivated care staff, closely supervised and on continuous training programmes.We provide a high level of care backed up by Medical attention through regular visits by the GP.

The relationship between a carer and a resident goes beyond helping with washing, feeding and use of the Bathroom facilities.  Our staff recognise that it should be a reciprocal warm relationship with understanding and respect.

A care programme is prepared by Matron for each resident on admission.  This programme is a detailed
plan of medical needs as well as the personal care needed, respecting privacy and dignity at all times.
